I can't believe that my baby is 4! What's even sadder is that if she's 4, how old does that make my other 2! It's fun to see how they grow into little people but I wish it went a little bit slower. Here's a few from her birthday session.
I made this one for her bedroom. I printed it in a 20x24 and am going to put it in a cute colorful frame. Fun!

Has anybody ever caught a leprechaun?? Well, my son Cade tried for a week straight and no luck! I told him they were not real and he thinks I'm crazy. Here's what a leprechaun trap apparently looks like.
In case you're confused as to how it works, the leprechaun walks up the white paper ramp, follows the black maze with the marshmellow trail and falls into the hole. In order to see if there's one inside, you just bang on the top and see if he makes any noise. Let me know if anyone else has had any luck with this sort of thing:)

The day finally came! I have been anxiously awaiting the opportunity to photograph these little ones. I knew it was going to be fun because mom loves to try new things. They had a rough start with all three ending up in the hospital with RSV at two weeks so it made this session even more special seeing them all happy and healthy again.

I had the pleasure of donating my services to the Bennet Family and some of the other families they work with through their organization Surreia's Place. It's a wonderful place for children with special needs and their families to get resources and support. The Bennet's are such an amazing family. They started Surreia's place because they have a daughter with autism and realized how difficult it was to find resources. They wanted to make the journey a little bit easier for other families in their situation.

This next session is my friend Carin's adorable kids. We were neighbors way back when she was pregnant with her first and my oldest was about 1 1/2. Wow how time flies! I can't believe how big they are all getting. I can hardly stand it when I look at how cute their little girl "Kirbie" is.
Whew, it's been a long time! This fall was crazy busy and also a lot of fun. I'm so thankful to all of my wonderful clients that have allowed me to share in capturing their memories. I'm also so blessed to have such an understanding husband and family for putting up with me and allowing me to do what I love.
Ok, now onto new years resolutions! Blogging, that's my first one. I'm going to be much better about it. This month I'm going to share with you many of the fun shoots I had this past fall. Reading more to my girls and playing more boardgames with my son, that's my second one. They love to do these things and when things get busy I don't do this as much as I should. Well, not this year!

My friend let me borrow her little girl the other day to take some photos of her to use for some new products I'm am offering. She had the cutest little dress on. She looks like she should be on the cover of a magazine or something.

It's amazing how time flies. My friend Michelle was in town a couple of weeks ago visiting her family. I don't get a chance to see her very often because she now lives in Canada. I was thinking about how long we've been friends and it's been over 20 years! It seems like just yesterday when we would have our parents drop us off behind the Mermaid because we were too cool to be dropped off at the front door. Soon we'll be doing that for our own kids. Crazy! Here are a few pictures from her session.
This one is a little boring but they hate couple pictures. They were not very cooperative so others were not as family friendly.
